Kersey Mobility Hosts Annual Ability Expo, Bringing In 20 Local Vendors

The 8th annual Ability Expo is the largest in the Northwest, attracting over 200 people to the event.

July 21, 2010 (PRWeb) Sumner, Washington -- Kersey Mobility, a wheelchair accessible van and equipment provider, will be hosting the 8th annual Ability Expo on Saturday, July 31 from 10 AM to 3 PM in Sumner, Washington with local vendors in attendance and a complimentary barbecue lunch and valet parking.

"We do the Expo to offer an event where people with disabilities can be exposed to our services and products and also have an opportunity to meet with other companies that offer services such as wheelchair and scooter vendors, associations, companies that do home modifications, adaptive driving programs and the like," Ron Olson, Kersey Mobility sales consultant. "We put special pricing on our products for this event and ask participating vendors to do the same."

Twenty local vendors and non-profits will be showcased, offering the discounted wheelchair vans, scooters and medical equipment. The vendors will set up under large tents, displaying show specials and even bringing inventory that is offered at discounted pricing.

"We usually see attendance over 200 people and sales for that day usually exceed that of an average month, but most importantly, customers call and send notes afterward thanking us for hosting it," Mike Kersey President of Kersey Mobility said. "It is free to both customers and vendors and we take care of everything."

In 1998, Kersey Mobility held its first customer appreciation day/open house. Attendance greatly exceeded expectations. The store continued hosting the mobility equipment sale each year and it continued to be very successful.

Kersey Mobility is located at 6015 160th Ave. East in Sumner, Washington. For more information about the expo call 253-863-4744 or visit or http://www.abilityexpo.com/ or http://www.kerseymobility.com/.
